Err Msg: Setup Cannot Load the Protocols to the Registry (208264)

When you install Proxy Server on a computer with a 15-character computer
name, the following error occurs:
Setup cannot load the protocols to the Registry error no: 1722
CAUSE
This error is caused by a limitation of Stpsrvex.dll that ships with Proxy
Server. This is only a problem for computers with a 15-character name.
RESOLUTION
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from
Microsoft,
but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely
affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for
the next Windows NT service pack that contains this fix.
