ACC2000: "The Replication ID You Entered Is invalid" Error in Query (208222)

SYMPTOMS
When you run a query or add a field to a query in an unreplicated database, you may receive the following error message:
The Replication ID you entered is invalid.
CAUSE
You used braces ({}) instead of brackets ([]) around an object name in your
query.
NOTE: This error message also occurs if you use braces instead of parentheses around the arguments of a function or procedure.
RESOLUTION
Open the query in Design view and replace the braces with brackets.
