JPEG Image May Be Displayed Incorrectly (207888)

When you view a Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) image in Microsoft FrontPage Express, the image may appear to be cropped or truncated.
If you try to open the same file in Image Composer 1.5, you receivce the following error message:
Image file "<path><filename>.jpg" is stored in an unsupported format or format variant.
Where <path> is the folder location of the JPEG file, and <filename> is the name of the JPEG file.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are viewing a Progressive JPEG image. FrontPage Express and Image Composer do not support Progressive JPEG images.
RESOLUTION
You can view these images in the full retail version of Microsoft FrontPage.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
Even though the JPEG image may not appear correctly in FrontPage Express, it does appear correctly when viewed with Internet Explorer.
