Cannot Start IBM ThinkPad 380D with Digi DataFire PC Card Installed (207487)

When you start Windows 98 on your IBM ThinkPad 380D portable computer, the computer may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you insert a Digi DataFire GO! PC Card adapter into the PC Card slot when you start the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, eject the DataFire GO! adapter from the PC Card slot, restart the computer, and then contact IBM to obtain a BIOS upgrade for the ThinkPad computer. For information about obtaining the BIOS upgrade, click the following link to view the IBM Web site:
