SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Windows 98, the Taicom MR 34PVS 33600 modem may not work and a yellow exclamation point (!) or a red "X" may be displayed on the modem icon in Device Manager.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are not using the latest driver for the modem.
