Cannot Share a Program During a NetMeeting Conference (206236)

SYMPTOMS

When you start a NetMeeting conference and attempt to share a program, you may be unable to do so.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you try to share a program before the NetMeeting conference is properly synchronized. For example, this can occur if you try to share a program immediately after you establish a NetMeeting conference. NetMeeting conferences require a few moments to properly synchronize before you can share a program.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, do not try to share a program immediately after you establish a NetMeeting conference. Instead, wait a few moments to allow NetMeeting to properly synchronize your conference, and then share your program.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
