WD98: WordArt Object Cannot Be Selected After You Delete Caption (206127)

When you remove a caption from an inserted WordArt object in Microsoft Word (on the Edit menu, click Undo Caption), you are unable to select the WordArt object. You are able to move the object, but the handles that let you resize the object do not appear.
WORKAROUND
To make the resizing handles reappear, follow these steps:
- Click the inserted caption to select it.
- Press DELETE to manually delete the caption.
- Click the WordArt object.
STATUSThis problem was corrected in Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac.
