WD2001: The Invoice (UK) Template Displays Dollars ($) as the Default Unit Price, Instead of Pounds (o) (206113)

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, edit the Invoice (UK) template to replace the dollar currency symbol ($) with the pound currency symbol (£). To do so, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Open.
2. On the Select a Document menu, open the Templates folder.
3. On the Other Documents list, click the Invoice (UK) template. In the List Files of Type box, make sure that Document Templates is selected. Click OK.
4. On the Tools menu, click Unprotect Document. This lets you edit the template boxes.
5. Navigate to the UNIT PRICE box and double-click it.
6. Navigate to the Number format list and delete the dollar currency symbol.
7. Type the pound currency symbol (£) by pressing Option+3. Click OK.
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until all the UNIT PRICE boxes have the pound currency symbol (£).
9. On the Tools menu, click Protect Document for Forms.
10. On the File menu, click Save As, and save the template in the same location with the same file name, to replace the existing file. (The default location for templates is the Templates\Other Documents folder.)
