SYMPTOMS

When you print an HyperText Markup Language (HTML) document that contains color images to some color printers, the images may be printed in black and white, rather than in color. For example, this problem occurs when you print to the following printer:

Hewlett-Packard 1600C

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. In FrontPage, open the Web that contains the image you want to print.
  2. On the View menu, click Folders.
  3. Right-click the document that contains the color image, and click Open.

The document will open in FrontPage.
  4. On the File menu, click Preview In Browser.
  5. To print the HTML document from the Web browser, click the Printer icon on the toolbar.

MORE INFORMATION

Although you may upgrade your printer driver to an updated printer driver, you may not resolve this problem. However, you can work around this problem by printing from another program, such as a Web browser.
