WD2000: Graphics Colors Are Printed Incorrectly on an Epson Stylus Printer (206049)

If you use Microsoft Word 2000 to open a Microsoft Word 95 document that contains graphics, and you then print this document to an Epson Stylus Color printer, the colors of the graphics may be printed incorrectly.
For example, the red color may be printed as orange, and the yellow color may print as green. However, the colors are displayed correctly on the screen.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because, when you open the Word 95 document in Word 2000, the internal Word converter converts the graphics, and the graphics are then printed to the Epson Stylus Color printer using a Microsoft Windows 95 printer driver, version 2.2 or 2.3. These drivers are not fully compatible with Word 2000.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Use Printer Emulation
Use printer emulation to select a compatible driver for the Epson Stylus Color printer.
Method 2: Use Another Printer
Print to a printer other than an Epson Stylus Color printer.
Method 3: Reinsert the Graphic
After the document is reopened in Word 2000, delete and then reinsert the graphic.
