This article was previously published under Q204641 SUMMARY
The IPX and PSTN (modem-to-modem) protocols are not available in NetMeeting 2.1 and later. Earlier versions of NetMeeting support these protocols. NetMeeting 2.1 and later supports only TCP/IP over a LAN or dial-up connection using Dial-Up Networking.
MORE INFORMATION
Support for PSTN and IPX was removed because NetMeeting is an Internet-focused product. NetMeeting enables you to establish
point-to-point connections over a modem by using TCP/IP.
