Selected Text in InkWriter May Not Appear to Be Selected (203665)

SYMPTOMS

When you select text in InkWriter, it may not appear to be selected.

CAUSE

The select (or highlight) color in InkWriter is set to yellow and cannot be changed. If you set the Page Style option to Yellow Background, you may not be able to distinguish the yellow highlight from the background.

RESOLUTION

If your Handheld PC (H/PC) has contrast and brightness controls, use them to adjust the screen until the background is lightened enough to see the highlighting.

Or, in InkWriter, tap Page Style on the Tools menu, and then tap to clear the Yellow Background check box. This changes the background page style to white.
