When you attempt to reposition data in a Microsoft Word table by pressing the TAB key, a row is inserted, the data is not repositioned, and the table is truncated. The table remains truncated despite attempts to apply the Undo command.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:
- If you are inserting tabs in the table, press CTRL+TAB to reposition the data.
- If you are adding rows to the table, click the Table menu and select Insert Rows. Alternatively, you can perform this same function by clicking the Insert Rows icon on the standard toolbar.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
