Application Integration Component Not Used by Incoming Receipts (202028)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition
This article was previously published under Q202028 SYMPTOMS
When you configure Commerce Interchange Pipeline Manager (CIPM) to accept
receipts acknowledging the delivery of business documents, you must create
an incoming document profile for receipts. The Application Integration
component that is available for creating incoming document profiles has no
effect on the routing of incoming receipts and should be set to None when
you create an incoming document profile for receipts. The Application
Integration component is
useful for routing an incoming business document to a business
application, such as an accounting system used by your home organization,
but has no effect on the routing or processing of incoming receipts.
Incoming receipts are always handled by the CIPM AuditReceipt component,
which writes the receipt to the audit database.
STATUS

Edition version 3.0
