SYMPTOMS

When trying to install the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit on a server running Systems Management Server (SMS) 2.0, the resource kit setup may appear to hang. The server CPU processing cycles may increase to and run at 65-99 percent.

CAUSE

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 2.0.
