In the programs listed at the beginning of this article, the steps for creating a new toolbar may differ from steps that you use in earlier versions of these programs. This article lists the steps to use when you want to add a command to a new toolbar.

In the following example, you add the Save As command to a new toolbar called MyToolbar. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start one of the programs listed at the beginning of this article.
  2. On the View menu, point to Toolbars and then click Customize.
  3. Click the Toolbars tab, and then click New. Type MyToolbar in the Toolbar Name box, and then click OK.

    A blank toolbar titled "MyToolbar" appears on the screen.
  4. Click the Commands tab.
  5. Drag the Save As command onto the MyToolbar toolbar.

    Repeat step 4 for any other commands that you want to add to the new toolbar.
  6. In the Customize dialog box, click Close.
