OLEXP: Cannot Add Group E-mail Entries to WAB After Installing SP4 (200135)

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade a Windows NT 4.0-based server or workstation to Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4, you may not be able to add e-mail entries to group entries in the Windows Address Book (WAB) with Outlook Express.

You can still create new groups with e-mail entries, but once you create a group, you cannot add additional e-mail entries to that group.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Internet Explorer service pack that contains this hotfix.
