SYMPTOMS
Although the spelling checker has been installed correctly, it ignores
misspelled words.
CAUSE
In the Spelling Options dialog box, under Ignore, Microsoft Access selects the option Words in UPPERCASE by default. The text that you are checking consists entirely of uppercase letters, so it appears that the spelling checker is not working properly.
RESOLUTION
Type some misspelled data in lowercase letters, and then use the spelling
checker. When the Spelling dialog box appears, click Options. In the Spelling Options dialog box, under Ignore, click to clear the Words in UPPERCASE check box, and then click OK.
REFERENCESFor more information about checking the spelling, click Microsoft Access Help on the Help menu, type check the spelling of data in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
