ACC2000: Upsizing Report Toolbar Fails to Appear (198992)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Access 2000

This article was previously published under Q198992
Moderate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills.

SYMPTOMS

If you upsize a database to Microsoft SQL Server, and you maximize the Upsize Report by double-clicking the report's title bar, the report toolbar may disappear. At that point, you cannot access the Close button on the toolbar.

RESOLUTION

Do not maximize the Upsizing Report. If you have done so, try minimizing and maximizing Access. This may cause the Close button for the report to reappear. Also, if you move the pointer over the close button [x] for the database, the Upsizing Report toolbar may appear and you can then use it to close the report.

You can also press CTRL+F4 to close the report.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
