SYMPTOMS

Disabling the Reply, Reply All, Forward, and Print in the Extensions section of a Exchange Form Designer (EFD) form's CFG file has no effect on the form when accessed from the Microsoft Outlook client.

RESOLUTION

Disable the Reply, Reply All, Forward, or Print events from the EFD Designer during the design phase of your form development. This will prevent the undesired events from being available.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Outlook products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Disabling EFD form events is done from the Events tab of the Form Properties dialog box found on the View menu in the EFD Designer application. First select the desired event from the "For This Event:" drop-down list, then select the "Event Not Supported" option in the "Take This Action:" section of the dialog box.
