Mouse Pointer Disappears Over a Web Address (198614)

When you move your mouse pointer to point to a Web address, your pointer
may disappear or flicker. Note that this issue only occurs when you move
your mouse pointer to point to a Web address.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using an ATI 3D Rage Pro or ATI 3D Rage
II/II+ video adapter.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact ATI to inquire about the availability of a
fix for this issue.
To work around this issue, use the following steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click System.
- Click the Performance tab, and then click Graphics.
- Move the Hardware Accelerator slider to the Most Accelerator Functions
position, click OK, and then restart your computer. Test to determine
if the issue is resolved, and if not, continue to step 4.
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click Mouse.
- Click the Motion tab, and then click the Show Pointer Trails check box
to select it.
- Move the slider to the Short position, and then click OK.
