PRJ: Inserted Projects Not Expanded with Show All Subtasks (198349)

In Microsoft Project, when you Show All Subtasks, all inserted projects tasks may not be expanded.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you Show All Subtasks in a project that contains inserted projects. Inserted projects are only expanded one outline level each time you Show All Subtasks.
NOTE: You can Show All Subtasks by using any of the following methods:
- On the Project menu, point to Outline, and click
Show All Subtasks.
- On the Formatting toolbar, click Show All
Subtasks.
- Press ALT+SHIFT+*
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, select the Task Name column and repeat Show All Subtasks until all outline levels are expanded.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
