WD97: Can't Use Scroll Box to Get to Last Page of Document (198312)

SYMPTOMS

When you drag the scroll box in the vertical scroll bar to go to the end of a large document, the vertical scroll box may not take you to the last page of the document. In addition, the Screen Tip does not display the last page number of the document.

NOTE: This problem can occur in any view in Word.

WORKAROUND

To scroll to the last page of your document, click and hold the bottom scroll arrow on the vertical scroll bar until you reach the last page of the document.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

This problem has been corrected in Word 2000.
