This article describes the differences in the functionality of the NUM LOCK key and the keys on the numeric keypad in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

When you press the NUM LOCK key in Combat Flight Simulator, you toggle the Number Lock setting on your keyboard. When you press the NUM LOCK key in Flight Simulator, you open a map window.

To use the keys on the numeric keypad to control your aircraft in Combat Flight Simulator, make sure the Number Lock setting on your keyboard is turned off (the LED representing the NUM LOCK key is not lit).

The following table lists the functions of the NUM LOCK key and the keys on the numeric keypad in Combat Flight Simulator and Flight Simulator.
