OL2000: Task Priority Not Retained in Timex Data Link Wizard (198187)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

This article was previously published under Q198187

SYMPTOMS

The information from the previous export from Microsoft Outlook to your Timex Data Link Watch is held in the Import/Export Wizard for your next export. However, if you last exported Tasks with a priority other than Normal, the priority is set back to Normal the next time you export.

RESOLUTION

To ensure that all of your information is exported as expected, you must step through the wizard and change the task priority.

MORE INFORMATION

The Timex Data Link Watch produced by Timex Corporation, receives information exported from Outlook. The Timex Data Link Watch Wizard in Outlook makes it easy to export any of the following to the watch: appointments, tasks, phone numbers, anniversaries, reminders, and current time and time zone information.

The files needed to export information to the watch are on your Outlook compact disc (CD). You can export information by clicking Import and Export on the File menu, and then clicking Export to The Timex Data Link Watch.
