PPT2000: Recolor Information Lost After Ungrouping Clip Art (197710)

When you ungroup a clip art picture that you recolored, the picture
reverts to its original colors.
To recolor an image:
- With the picture selected, click Picture from the Format Menu.
- Click Recolor from the Picture Tab and make changes. Click OK twice.
WORKAROUND
When you ungroup a clip art object, you can select each piece of it and
modify it. Each piece may contain more than one grouped object. You can
apply Fill Effects to any individual object.
Steps to Ungroup and apply Fill Effects:
- Select the clip art picture and click Ungroup from the Draw Toolbar.
- Click outside the picture to deselect it.
- Select the piece of the picture you want to change.
- On the Format menu, click AutoShape.
- Click the Colors and Lines Tab. Make whatever changes you want.
- Click OK.
Repeat steps 1-6 for each piece of the clip art you want to change.
