PRJ98: Actual Work Lost When Changing Task Resume Date (197551)

SYMPTOMS

When you change the Resume date for a task, Microsoft Project 98 will remove actual work for the task that is scheduled after the Resume date.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when there is actual work on a task and you change the Resume date to a date earlier then when the latest actual work is completed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
