Remote Link Service Does Not Answer Incoming Calls (197436)

If a connection is configured for Incoming Calls and is using a Distributed
Link Service, the connection will never become active when the remote node
calls in. No errors and no events are logged on the SNA Server when this
problem occurs.
CAUSE
The Remote Link Service checks against the registry value
AllowIncoming, which has not been not defined.
RESOLUTIONSNA Server 3.0To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server version 3.0. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the

This problem was corrected in the latest SNA Server version 4.0 U.S.
Service Pack. For information on obtaining this Service Pack, query on the

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server
versions 3.0, 3.0 SP1, 3.0 SP2, 3.0 SP3, 4.0, and 4.0 SP1.
This problem was first corrected in SNA Server 3.0 Service Pack 4.
