SYMPTOMS

When you follow a hyperlink on a form or report, the Web toolbar opens and remains open as long as the Microsoft Access session is open. However if you manually close the Web toolbar, and then follow another hyperlink, the Web toolbar does not reopen.

CAUSE

By default, the Web toolbar opens when you first follow a hyperlink and remains open for the rest of your session. Any subsequent hyperlink address that you follow will not trigger the Web toolbar to open again.

RESOLUTION

You must manually open the Web toolbar by clicking to select the Web check box on the Toolbars submenu on the View menu.
