MORE INFORMATION
The Performance Monitor is a Microsoft Windows NT utility that can measure
the performance of your computer or another computer on the network. It can
monitor the behavior of various objects on the computer such as memory,
processes, cache, and so forth. These objects are associated with counters
that indicate how the object is performing. Processor queue lengths, disk
reads per second, and handle count are a few examples of performance
counters.
