Computers Tab Missing in FrontPage Permissions on IIS 3.0 (196933)

SUMMARY

When you connect to an Internet Information Server (IIS) 3.0 Web server running the FrontPage Server Extensions, you will not see the Computers tab in the FrontPage Permissions dialog box.

This occurs because there is only one set of IP restrictions for the entire Web server when you use IIS 3.0.

MORE INFORMATION

On an IIS 4.0 Web server, the Computers tab appears because IIS 4.0 allows per-directory IP restrictions.
