PhD: EPS Graphics Saved from Adobe Illustrator (196930)

When you open an EPS graphic file that was saved from Adobe Illustrator, it
may not appear exactly as it did in Illustrator.
CAUSE
Adobe Illustrator can save Illustrator EPS files in versions up to 7.0.
These later versions of Illustrator EPS graphics have some features that go
beyond the features of standard EPS.
WORKAROUND
Save the EPS file from Illustrator again, and select an output version of
Illustrator version 3.0 or lower.
MORE INFORMATION
PhotoDraw converts EPS graphics to PhotoDraw graphics and preserves the
vector data in the graphic.
Adobe Illustrator has versions for Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX.
