TC1000: New Button Does Not Appear on Controller (196819)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Take Control Editor to add a button for an infrared device to the Take Control System Controller (TC1000), you may not see the new button on the TC1000.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you do not complete the button setup and return to a previous screen.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, complete the button setup. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Start the Take Control Editor.
  2. Click Devices.
  3. Click the device you want to configure, and then click Edit.
  4. Click Add New Button.
  5. Click the check box for the button you want to add to select it.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the button setup.
