This article was previously published under Q196814 SYMPTOMS
When you copy a slide containing a Microsoft Graph object from one
presentation to another, the text and color formatting of the Microsoft
Graph object may change.
CAUSE
To provide a consistent look to the slides in a presentation, PowerPoint
adjusts the formatting of Microsoft Graph objects based on the the color
scheme and the typeface formatting of the Title Area for AutoLayouts on the
Slide Master.
RESOLUTION
You have a Microsoft Graph object not update its formatting. To do this
follow these steps before copying the slide:
- Select the Microsoft Graph object.
- Right-click on the Graph, and click Show Picture Toolbar.
- Click the Recolor Chart tool.
- Click None in the Recolor Chart dialog, and click OK.
When you copy the slide containing this Microsoft Graph object into another
presentation, it will not take on the formatting from the destination
presentation.
