PPT97: Inserted Pictures Change Position when Slide is Exported (196810)

When you save or export your PowerPoint slides that contain several
pictures inserted by either Microsoft Clip Gallery, a file, or the
clipboard in any graphics format (WMF, GIF, PNG, or JPEG), these pictures
may appear to be scattered about randomly on the resulting exported
graphics.
WORKAROUNDWorkaround 1 - Convert Vector Graphics into Office Drawing Objects
Note: The following steps pertain to all vector objcets within the
slide you are attepting to export as a graphic file.
- Open the Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation from which you are
attempting to export the slides as graphic images.
- Switch to the slide you wish to export.
- Select a vector image on your slide.
- On the Draw menu, click Ungroup.
NOTE: If the Ungroup command is unavailable, then the selection is not
a vector graphic.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all vector images on your slide are
ungrouped.
- Export the slide.
Workaround 2 - Grouping All of the Images on the Slide
To group all of the images on the slide, follow these steps:
- Open the Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation from which you are
attempting to export the slides as graphic images.
- Switch to the slide you want to export.
- From the Edit menu, click Select All.
- From the Draw menu, click Group.
- Export the slide.
