RESOLUTION

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT, you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).

To resolve this issue, enter the correct value data of the Help Media value in the Windows registry. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Use Registry Editor to open the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Picture It! Express\InstallDest

  2. Change the value data of the Help Media entry to the following path
    <drive>:\PIE\UAFiles

where <drive> is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive.
  3. Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
