PRJ98: SNLT Constraint When Work Assigned Before Task Start Date (196264)

In a project that is scheduled from Project Finish Date, if you enter a value in the timephased Work field for a task before the start date of the project, Microsoft Project assigns a Start No Later Than (SNLT) constraint to the task.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur when you assign work before the start date of the
project to a task and you are scheduling the project from a finish date.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
