In the Gantt Chart or Calendar view, when you drag a task bar to a new date
or time, the task ScreenTip may display a Start time that is different than
the one you want.
In the Gantt Chart View
The new Start time is only displayed as the default start time.
In the Calendar View
The new Start time is displayed as either the default start time or 12:00
P.M.
NOTE: To change the default start time, click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Calendar tab. In the Default Start Time box, type the new default start time you want. Click OK.
WORKAROUND
To enter a task start time different than what is displayed in the
ScreenTip, change the Start time in the Task Information dialog box. To do
this, follow these steps:
- Select the task.
- On the Project menu, click Task Information, and then
click the General tab.
- Under Dates, type the date and time you want the task to start
in the Start box. Click OK.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
