Unable to Rename Items on Controller (196101)

SYMPTOMS

After you configure the Take Control System Controller (TC1000), you may be unable to rename any of the items the controller is configured to run.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your configuration uses the total amount of memory installed in the TC1000.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, use the following methods:

  • Delete any unused or redundant devices, activities, or macros.
  • Edit the remaining devices to remove any unused buttons.

MORE INFORMATION

To prevent this issue from occurring, do not assign long labels to buttons or rename button labels.
