SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to create a paper project, you may receive the following error message:
You can only use dates between 1970 and 2037.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a Cyrix microprocessor is installed in your computer.

This issue has been encountered using Microsoft Greetings 99 and Home Publishing 99 on computers that use one of the following Cyrix microprocessors:

  • C5x86 80 MHz
  • C5x86 100 MHz
  • C5x86-S 120 MHz
