SYMPTOMS

When you use a PUT command with HTTP to copy a file from a browser to an IIS 4.0 computer, if the file is copied to a drive other than a system drive, the file is deleted and a 401.1 Access Denied error is returned. The file deletion may take up to 45 seconds to occur, due to queue management in IIS.
