CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are running Setup from the Casio Desktop Software for Windows CD 2.1 CD-ROM included with the Cassiopeia E-10 Windows CE device. This Setup program uses a setup information (.inf) file intended for installation from a floppy disk.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, use one of the following methods:

Method 1

Run Microsoft Exchange Update Setup from Windows Explorer. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.
  2. Double-click the Exupdusa.exe file located in the Exupdusa folder on the Casio Desktop Software for Windows CD 2.1 CD-ROM, and then follow the instructions on your screen.

Method 2

Copy the Microsoft Exchange Update files from the Exupdusa folder on the Casio Desktop Software for Windows CD 2.1 CD-ROM to floppy disks, and then run Setup. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.
  2. Insert a blank, formatted disk into drive A and then copy the files from the Disk 1 folder on the CD-ROM to drive A. For information about how to copy files, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type copying, and then double-click the Copying files topic.
  3. Repeat step 2, copying the contents of each folder to a different floppy disk.
  4. Double-click the Exupdusa.exe file on disk 1 (the disk containing files from the Disk 1 folder), and then follow the instructions on your screen.
