To synchronize your Windows CE device and desktop computer using a command- line switch, follow these steps on your desktop computer:
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:

    "c:\program files\windows ce services\syncmgr.exe /syncnow"
To start ActiveSync normally, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Windows CE Services, and then click Mobile Devices.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Synchronize Now.
