IR Code Buttons Do Not Work Properly or Controller Hangs (195312)

When you configure the Take Control System Controller (TC1000) to learn
infrared (IR) codes from another remote control, you may experience any of
the following symptoms:
- The buttons for the learned IR codes may not work properly.
- The controller may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you initiate the learning process while the
display on the TC1000 is blank.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, restore the TC1000 display before you initiate the
learning process. To do this, press Home Menu or Backlight on the TC1000.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Take Control Editor,
version 1.0.
