This article was previously published under Q195250 NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the
Corporate Workgroup/Other option. This option allows you to use Messaging
Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your
installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About
Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate
Workgroup installation.
SYMPTOMS
Using Microsoft Outlook if you compose a message and then on the View menu,
click Options and set the message for a delayed delivery, the e-mail
message delivery may not be delayed.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you are using a workgroup post office and the
Microsoft Mail service. Although the option to delay delivery is available
for Outlook e-mail messages, the Windows Messaging Service does not have
the capability to delay message delivery.
