PRB: Run-Time Errors Switching from Design to Quick View (195190)

SYMPTOMS

When you switch from a Design View to Quick View in a HTML file with a RecordSet Design-time control (DTC), you will get the following error message:
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line : 457
Error: Unspecified.

Use the browser to view the page.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Create a new Visual InterDev 6.0 project.
  2. Add a data connection.
  3. Add an .htm file to the project.
  4. Drag and Drop a RecordSet DTC from the toolbar onto the .htm file.
  5. Switch from the Design view to Quick view.
  6. You will get the above described error message.

Limitation

Quick View is designed to view .htm pages, and it does not process server side script.
