XL98: Tools Menu Items Missing After Unloading Analysis ToolPak (195136)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, when you click the Tools menu, one or more menu commands are missing from the top of the Tools menu.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you clear the Analysis ToolPak check box in the Add- Ins dialog box. Each time that you clear the Analysis ToolPak check box, another menu item is removed.

WORKAROUND

To work around the problem, quit, and then restart Excel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
