PRJ: Table Column Titles Cut Off in Print or Print Preview (194970)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you print or print preview a Gantt Chart or usage view, the table column's title text may be cut off.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur when you change the Row & Column Titles in the Text Styles formatting dialog box to have a font size larger than that of the items Major Timescale or Minor Timescale.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, increase the font size of the major or minor timescale to match the size of the row and column titles. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the Format menu, click Text Styles.
  2. In the Item To Change list, click Row & Column Titles.
  3. Note the font size.
  4. In the Item To Change list, click Major Timescale (or Minor Timescale).
  5. Change the font size to match the font size of Row & Column Titles from step 3.
  6. Click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
