SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to organize a large number of images in Microsoft Picture It! using the Add Pictures command, you receive a message stating that you are low on system resources.

WORKAROUND

NOTE: This requires Media Manager to be installed on your computer.

To workaround this behavior, follow these steps:

  1. From Workbench, click Get Pictures and click Organize Pictures.
  2. In Step One, select any folder containing images. For demonstration purposes we will use the My Pictures folder.
  3. In Step Two, click Add Pictures.
  4. In the Add Pictures to Catalog Task menu, click Next.
  5. In Step Two, click the pictures you want to add.

NOTE: Add images in increments of 75 images or less.
  6. In Step Three, click Create a New Folder. In the My Pictures folder, create a folder called Test.
  7. To copy the images to the new folder, click Yes.
  8. In Step Four select one of the following options:

Type in descriptions for the pictures.
    Add more pictures.
    Click Done.

NOTE: For demonstration purposes click Done.
