PI99: Advanced Menus Not Always Available (194864)

SYMPTOMS

After you select the Advanced Menus option, you will find that the Advanced Menus is available only with an image loaded into Microsoft Picture It!

CAUSE

The Advanced Menu is hidden, even when selected, unless an image is loaded into Picture It! '99.

MORE INFORMATION

The Advanced Menu option allows for the use of standard menus to find common imaging functions rather than using the Visual Navigator.

NOTE: Using the Advanced Menus does not remove the visual navigation elements from the Picture It! desktop, nor is the visual navigation disabled.

You can access this function by taking the following steps:
  1. In the Workbench tab, click Get Picture, and click My Pictures.
  2. Open an image into Microsoft Picture It! 99.
  3. On the View menu, click Advanced Menus.
You will now be able to access all the functions in Microsoft Picture It! directly from the Menu Bar.
